Registration:           9:00—9:25 am (light refreshments served)
 
Morning Session:   9:25 am—12:30 pm (technical session)
  • Morning Session: How Charitable Plans Can Benefit Clients and Further Their Planning Goals—this session is geared towards planning professionals (attorneys, CPAs, trust officers, financial planners, planned giving officers) and will cover technical aspects, including case studies, of using charitable planning to further estate, tax, retirement, and philanthropic goals. 30 minutes of ethics included.
Boxed Lunch:         12:30—1:00 pm
Afternoon Session: 1:00 pm—4:00 pm (developmental session)
  • Afternoon Session: Talking to Real People about Real Gifts, Including the Topic in Every Conversationthis session is geared toward professional and developmental staff (planned giving professionals, fundraising staff, major gift officers) and will cover donor benefits of charitable gift plans and techniques for introducing planned gifts in any conversation. Donor stories will be shared to illustrate techniques and concepts.
