Join us for lunch at the Summit Club and hear an informative presentation from John Hudgens and John Stout of BB&T Wealth Management.

John H. Hudgens, III is a 1984 graduate of The Citadel and holds both Law and Master of Taxation degrees from the University of South Carolina. He is also a graduate of Emory University with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. Mr. Hudgens has experience in the public accounting as well as the legal field. He is an active member of the Bar serving on both the Estate Planning and Probate and the Tax Sections of the South Carolina Bar.  John joined The Southeastern Trust Company in September, 1991 in the Columbia Office, concentrating on business development. The Southeastern Trust Company was acquired by BB&T in November 2001. John is currently a Team Director and Wealth Management Advisor within the Wealth Management Division of BB&T. BB&T Wealth Management is an advocate for BB&T clients providing Estate Planning, Asset Management, Banking, and Insurance Advice.

John J. Stout is a 1984 graduate of The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and holds both Law and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. Mr. Stout began his career in the tax department of a large public accounting firm, practiced law in the areas of taxation, business law, and estate planning at law firms in Boston and Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Stout joined the Columbia, South Carolina office of BB&T Wealth in February 2011 as an objective Business Transition and Wealth Planning Strategist, working with wealthy families, business owners, and executives and their other advisors, developing and implementing sophisticated strategies to attain client goals.
