FRANCHELLE C. MILLENDER is recognized as a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and has been in private practice in Columbia, SC, since 1977. She received both her undergraduate and law degrees from The University of South Carolina. She served as chairman of the SC Bar Elder Law Committee from its inception until July, 2006. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and its Council of Advanced Practitioners. She has served on the NAELA Board of Directors since 2009. She is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
Franchelle is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and long term care planning and is the author of a book entitled SOUTH CAROLINA ELDER LAW: A PRACTICE MANUAL, published by the South Carolina Bar. Her office is located in downtown Columbia at 1441 Main Street, Suite 725.
